The same fee is typed twice
Once when the engagement letter is agreed, again when somebody rebuilds those terms at invoicing time.
The engagement letter is generated from the matter file, and the fee, currency, VAT and payment schedule it contains become the billing basis for that matter.
Intake is retyped out of email
The client answers by email, then a junior copies those answers into the system by hand.
Clients complete intake questionnaires in the portal, and their answers land against the matter directly. Emirates ID is read in the browser and the image is never uploaded.
What happened at the hearing stays in a note
Somebody has to read the note and remember to turn it into work.
Hearing outcomes, adjournment chains and attendance notes are recorded on the case, and the action points arising from them become tasks.
Conflicts get checked when somebody remembers
A check that lives on its own screen happens when a person is being careful, which is not the same as it happening.
The conflict check also sits inline on the matter-creation form, taking the names from the form. It searches clients, matters, contacts, prospects and debtors, and produces a file note recording what was checked and by whom.
Logins are rationed to keep the bill down
Per-seat pricing quietly decides who is allowed into the system, so the people doing the filing often are not.
One flat price for the firm with unlimited users, so the secretary, the paralegal and the accountant are all in the same system as the partners.

You are a solo or a two-person firm
Flat pricing only starts paying off from about 5 people. Below that, per-seat software is genuinely cheaper and you should buy it.
Your procurement requires SOC 2 or ISO 27001
We hold neither certification today. If a certificate is a gate for you, we do not clear it, and no amount of describing our controls changes that.
You need live Dubai Courts portal synchronisation
Deadlines are calculated from court rules; hearings are entered or imported, not pulled from the court portal. As far as we can establish no vendor in this market has a live connection, but if one demonstrates it to you, that is a real difference.
You want AI to draft client documents today
